INSULATION – LJPM Receives Assurances from Installers

    Following recent concerns in relation to insulation installed as part of the Federal Government’s incentive program, we went back to our installers to seek their reassurances in relation to the type of batts they have installed. While confident that there was no reason for concern in relation to this specific issue, given our original checks when engaging these contractors; we felt the matter demanded follow up enquiry.

     We requested and have received written confirmation from all installers engaged by LJPM, to the effect, that they have not and will not use the foil insulation in question and only use prescribed materials.


An Important Notice If You Are A First Time Renter Or New To The Area
    If you are new to the Newcastle market or renting for the first time!

    Welcome. We sincerely hope we are able to help you with your search, which we appreciate may be more than a little frustrating at times. Particulary in the cast of some properties, where we received literally dozens of applications. We offer the following information in the hope that it may assist you.

    1. Properties in general will go quite quickly, in some cases the day they become available. You may even find they go before you get time to put an application in. Why? Because in order to turn properties around rapidly, and to inform those looking as promptly as possible; the process is expedited. Despite our very best efforts to prevent disappointment and frustration (which we often share!), it may be unavoidable.

    2. On the other hand while we process applications as quickly as possible, often on the day; there can be delays just because of the number of applications on certain properties or because we are required to await final approval from owners. We do genuinely understand the anxiety in wanting to know and all the frustrations that go with the search; so we try our best to help where we can.

    3. So if you find a property you really want, get your application in immediately and make sure you include as much information as possible. This will enhance your chance of getting the property. In this instance more is better but even then because of the market, there is no guarantee. You can always use the application for another property if need be.

    4. While we will always try, it is rare at this time of the year that when you contact us we will be able to make appointments for inspections for that same day; particularly Saturdays, where we are often booked days in advance. Of course you are able to attend any open inspections.

    5. If you are travelling from outside the region it is better to spend a little time checking websites and newspapers first; find out when inspections are being conducted so that you can plan your day and make more effective use of your time. And get an early start on the day.
